Design Notes:
From the moment the original iPhone debuted in 2007, I was captivated by Microsoft's bold and stunning approach to smartphone design. The Metro UI, characterized by its emphasis on typography, streamlined icons, minimalistic aesthetics, and fundamental geometric shapes, stood out as a beacon of innovation. I drew inspiration from this design philosophy, recreating the essence of a beautiful, swift, and simplistic user experience.
Design Notes:
These designs were inspired by Bento UI, a design approach that thrives on visual hierarchy and meticulous organization—time-honored principles in UI design. What sets Bento UI apart is its exceptional suitability for compact, rectangular layouts, making it particularly adept for mobile devices. For designers crafting responsive layouts, Bento UI proves to be a valuable asset, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics.
Design Notes:
In my UI portfolio, I showcase designs from the daily UI challenge, featuring a mobile checkout screen prioritizing clear navigation and functionality over elaborate credit card design. Additionally, I present a desktop food blog where simplicity in navigation allows the focus to be on letting the visuals of the food take center stage.
